An app should be allowed to be small
There is enormous pressure on a simple app to become something else — to grow accounts so it can grow a mailing list, to add a feed so it has somewhere to put adverts, to invent a premium tier so the free one can be made slightly worse. Most little tools die of that ambition long before anyone gets bored of them.
Emojor does one thing: it swaps letters for emoji, and swaps them back. There is no gallery of your messages, no history, no cloud, no friends list and nothing to unlock. It is closer to a paper decoder ring than to a messaging product, and that is deliberate.
It is a toy cipher, not encryption. Anyone with the app can read anything made with it, and we say so on the app's own first screen rather than in the small print.

Type a message and it becomes a string of emoji, ready to copy and send anywhere. Your friend pastes it back into Emojor, switches to decode, and reads what you actually wrote. Simple, silly, and unreasonably good fun to pass notes with.
Nothing else gets in the way: the emoji version appears as you type, decoding is one tap away, and both directions work with any keyboard and any chat app you already use.

One fixed note, no keyboard and no decode box: you cannot write anything here or read anyone's message. Emojor is the part that does both, in either direction, in Slovenian or English, entirely on your phone.

VelvetBirch Studio is the app name used by AM Sajovec d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia. The code, the artwork, both language versions, this site and the Google Play account are handled from one address in Ljubljana.
